U4GM Diablo IV Chon Event Tips and Best Loot Guide (7 อ่าน)

8 เม.ย 2569 13:41

Diablo IV usually asks you to wade through blood, ash, and misery, so seeing players sprint across the map to smash a giant chicken feels completely off the rails in the best way. Chon has turned into the sort of event people actually interrupt their runs for, not just because it's funny, but because the drops are worth the trip if you care about unusual D4 items that can change how a build plays. The boss itself isn't especially subtle either. Once word gets out in chat, people pile in fast, and the whole fight becomes this messy little festival of feathers, spells, and panic rolling.

How players are tracking Chon

The awkward part is timing. Chon seems to show up every few hours, but nobody's nailed down a perfect schedule yet, so a lot of players are doing it the old-fashioned way. They share sightings, park alts, and keep an eye on world activity while they farm somewhere else. You'll notice pretty quickly that the real trick isn't beating him, it's catching him before the window closes. If you do get there in time, you'll bag the Foul Beast Chon achievement, which is nice, but most people aren't showing up for bragging rights. They're there because the loot pool is strange, useful, and just unpredictable enough to stay interesting.

The weapons are weird, but not useless

That's probably the best thing about this event. The gear sounds like a joke at first, then you look at the stats and start theorycrafting. The Cluck Eye bow is a solid example. On paper, crit damage and max life already make it decent, then the chicken projectile effect kicks in and suddenly ranged builds have this goofy extra layer that can actually work. The Clon Nomicon staff leans in a different direction. It stretches shrine buffs, improves pickup radius, and adds that odd enlightenment trigger tied to loose stones. It's not the kind of item every player wants, but for fast farming and levelling, it's got a real niche instead of being throwaway event loot.

Best picks for fast clears and melee chaos

If your build racks up kills nonstop, the Executioner scythe is probably the one to chase first. Life on kill and essence on kill already feel good in dense content, and the egg mechanic makes every pack a bit of a gamble. Sometimes you get an explosion, sometimes extra loot, sometimes just enough nonsense on screen to make the whole thing memorable. Melee players have their own prize in the Coupe Degra polearm. A fifteen percent chance to spawn explosive chickens on hit is exactly as silly as it sounds, yet it can still add pressure in a fight. And yes, bonus damage to poultry is somehow a real stat now, which says everything about the tone of this event.

Why it's worth farming before it disappears

Even if you're not desperate for upgrades, Chon is worth running for the cosmetics alone. There are weapon skins, profile cards, and enough novelty in the event to make it stand out from the usual world boss routine. More importantly, Blizzard hasn't made the end date especially clear, so waiting around is probably a mistake. Group up, keep trade and clan chat open, and jump in whenever the spawn call goes out. Between the achievement, the absurd weapon effects, and the chance to scoop up fresh d4 gear that actually has a place in real builds, this is one of those rare seasonal distractions that feels dumb in exactly the right way.
