Best Ways to Increase Walking Speed in Grow a Garden 2 (3 อ่าน)

21 มิ.ย. 2569 13:06

In Grow a Garden 2, movement speed might not seem important at first, but once your farm starts expanding, you quickly realize how much time you spend running between crops, shops, and storage areas. A faster walk speed means smoother farming, quicker harvesting cycles, and less downtime overall. There are a few reliable ways to improve movement, plus one risky but popular exploit that some players still use.

Equip Speed-Boosting Pets

The most consistent way to increase walking speed is by building a pet loadout focused on movement bonuses. Pets provide permanent buffs, so once you set them up, your character stays faster everywhere you go.

The Bunny or Rabbit is one of the earliest options you can use. Each one gives a flat +5 walk speed bonus, and they can be obtained from Common Eggs or purchased in-game. The real value comes from stacking them. Running three Bunnies together already gives a noticeable +15 speed boost, which is enough for early farming routes.

As you progress, Gray Mouse becomes a stronger alternative. It is commonly obtained from Mythical Eggs and is widely used by mid to late-game players because of its much higher speed contribution compared to starter pets. Players often replace early Bunny setups with multiple Gray Mice once they unlock better egg tiers.

Cheetah and Raptor pets are considered endgame movement options. These are less about small incremental boosts and more about turning your character into a fast traversal build. Many experienced players combine them with full pet slots dedicated purely to mobility.

Community discussions also frequently mention Unicycle Monkey as another strong movement option, especially when paired with other speed pets for continuous map traversal.

Use Speed Gear and Consumables

If you don’t want to rely only on pets, gear items offer temporary or utility-based speed improvements.

Speed Mushrooms are a simple consumable option. They provide a short but strong burst of movement speed and are usually used when you need to quickly reach a specific area, such as harvesting time-sensitive crops or returning to your shop.

The Teleporter Wrench is another powerful tool. Instead of increasing walk speed directly, it lets you bypass distance entirely by teleporting short ranges. This effectively replaces walking in many situations and is especially useful for large farms where running back and forth becomes inefficient.

Take Advantage of Physics-Based Movement Tricks

Some players use a more advanced and unofficial method involving a physics interaction exploit. This method revolves around overgrown crops, especially high-weight plants like Celestberry.

The idea is to grow a very large crop using stacked sprinklers until it reaches extreme weight, then interact with it in a way that triggers unstable physics behavior. When done correctly, this can launch the player across long distances at very high speed.

While this method can be entertaining and extremely fast, it is inconsistent and not part of intended gameplay mechanics, so it carries risk and is not something most players rely on for normal progression.

The most practical way to increase walking speed in Grow a Garden 2 is still through pets, especially stacking early-game speed pets and upgrading into higher-tier movement pets later on. Gear like Speed Mushrooms and Teleporter tools adds flexibility for specific situations, while physics exploits remain more of a novelty than a real strategy.

If you focus on building a proper mobility pet setup early, you will save a huge amount of time during farming loops and make your overall progression feel much smoother.
